Comments on an irrop/mx cancel

So, I was on AS 613, LAS-SEA, in the "infinite legroom" Y seat (13F) on a 73G. First attempt at pushback failed due to a circuit breaker that was blowing. We were onboard for about an hour, water was circulated, the captain came through the main cabin and chatted with passengers, as well as briefing us when we deboarded. (I was impressed enough with his attitude that he got a Gold certificate- not SOP during an MX delay, but that wasn't his fault). I got a voucher to take a shuttle home since the light rail was going to be long shut down by the time I got in...

We then swapped out equipment from an incoming 73H and then reboarded (after 150 minute delay), pushed back... and waited on the tarmac. Then the captain announced the circuit breaker blew again. We deboarded, luggage came off, vouchers for hotel rooms were announced, new flight at 9:45 AM (AS 7213). I looked at a long line and decided I'd crash at a friend's; now I am back and it looks like instead of the 734 that was going to be deadheaded down for us, we're going to try to fly N613AS again. Pity, since I don't have 13F again (switched to 13D when I printed my BO last night when I thought it was a 734.)

Incidental note: the AirCare kit is now down to 1,000 FF miles. No $25 voucher option.

I'll see what the compensation is- for a 19 hour delay on AA going LAS-LAX, it was 15,000 miles. This is the longest delay (and first mx cancel) I've had on AS.
