Humanoid94, I would agree with you here that nylon is a much more practical choice because it’s lightweight and easier to carry and also resistant to dirt and abrasions. The Briggs and Riley luggage that I use are made of ballistic nylon and you cannot imagine how easy it is to clean them. I would say you have made the right choice by going for nylon!
