Also, if you have data connection where you travel, you might want to check out Fring and Nimbuzz - alternatives of Skype. Sometimes they work better than the original software. Or they come out earlier - Nokia's N97 was supposed to ship with Skype,as they advertised at least, so I bought it, and had to search everywhere to find an alternative to Skype. Nimbuzz saved me that time.
