Great story

I could see many situations where half an hour in an elevator would feel long, e.g. with claustrophobic/nervous people, crowded/hot elevator, weak bladders, upcoming appointments, departing flights, etc., some more likely at a hotel than elsewhere.

Compensation would be welcome but doubtful, as this property doesn't appear particularly well-run...
