Only downside: LAS is a complete zoo, 365/24/7. Maybe not a big deal if you are just connecting (AA only has a couple of gates, and the general nuttiness isn't caused by AA), but unless you actually want to spend time in Vegas, I'd probably avoid that place. Just MHO, of course...
