The CA boarding pass is not a problem, the UA lounge has showers.
The problem is: getting backwards thru security to the lower (arrivals) level. Last time i was on CX and they gave me a little confirmation card. They you just take the elevator down and show the card, your passport and the boarding pass and they let you out on the arrivials level.
