I've seen it take a week or so for domestic stuff but up to a month for overseas hotel stays... Either way keep the hotel receipt and follow up with the hotel frequent stay program. My experience tells me United posts them pretty quickly after getting the notice from the hotel chain, but the delays come from the hotel processing it...
