I like them for two reasons not mentioned here.

First is should the TSA want to rummage your suitcase or carry on, they just move the bags and not go through them unless you have giant bags. Nobody is messing with your stuff.

Second is during the trip I love them to isolate the dirty clothing, wet stuff, etc.
