I assume that a suite is the only thing that qualifies as an upgrade for you. When I said I had been upgraded 75% of the time, I was including other "upgrades".
When I book a 280 sq ft Traditional room and receive a 350 sq ft Club Floor room, I consider that an upgrade.
When I book a Traditional room with a view of the roof top and receive a Deluxe Oceanfront room, I consider that an upgrade.
And yes I definitely enjoy, as you would, my upgrades to suites which last year was about 25% of the time. AND I never begged.
Sure, that's an upgrade...but per the program terms it certainly isn't an upgrade to the "best available room" - which is what you are supposed to get. It's funny how when you push them there's generally a better room...but again, you have to push, prod and grovel to get it...and I'm done with that.
