I stayed at Hotel Century Park on Valencia 154 north of Urgell Metro Station after Christmas. I had a good stay for under $100/night. I don't know if the rates are higher now but the hotel location was very convenient, within walking distance to many attractions, yet the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the high end areas.
