Usually SQ releases only maximum 2 seat awards at a time. So you have been lucky when the inventory control person decided to release more than 2 for that SQ26.

If you want to be seated together, yes, the middle row in the main cabin is the only possibility. Otherwise, two are seated by the window, and one is seated in aisle across. But there is not much to see through the window, since it's a night flight!
