i was told during checked-in when i present my confirmation sheet which showing the upgrades included 'lounge benefits' and not the full benefits (club benefits). i remember in le meridien kl, the free internet in room also not included unless you book the club room or pay the upgrades using starpoints.
It may be useful if you could clarify whether your upgrade was by virtue of (your) platinum status or by using points.
I did enquire with a manager and it was confirmed my platinum benefit at the
Sheraton Imperial was only lounge access. But as reported by a few posters, some of the lounge staff were unsure of their own rules and full benefits were extended to the lucky ones. There could have been a change in policy, which I am seeking to clarify.
I have received free internet in my suite at the
Le Meridien , and I believe this benefit is indicated in Le Royal Club welcome letter .
