Murphy's Law...
Just recently I opened up this thread to see if it is at all humanely possible to get three BC saver seats from Sing to Europe.
About a 1/2-hour ago I once again went through the painstakingly agonising process of going through the dates to see if I can get my 'party of three' on any flight to Frankfurt or Copenhagen (cities from which I can get a good connection onwards). This time instead of looking for 2 adults + 1 child I just set it at 2 adults until I found 2 BC saver seats, and then I amended my search criteria to 2+1.
To my surprise when doing this on one of the dates in May (SIN-FRA, 747 night flight) the saver award still showed blue (available). Thinking that maybe the system didn't update the info I checked the criteria and once again asked it to search... and the saver award availability disappeared. Hmmm... so much for that one.
I then go to check some different dates without any success, and decide to go back and repeat what I had done earlier. I input 2 adults and the saver comes up as blue. So I alter it to 2+1 and after a few secs it still stays blue. This time instead of updating again I decide to give it a shot and try to book the tickets straight away. I go through the passenger information and payment process... and BINGO! All three seats booked as BC saver awards.
P.S. Since there's 3 of us, I take it we're better off in the middle row of the lower deck?
