Bit of a rant. Television in BA Lounges

I was reading the most recent thread about the new lounges at IAD, and it reminded me of one of biggest grumbles. When I first went in there, the F lounge was overwhelmed with the noise emanating from the large flat screen TV. My local pubs have no TV, no one-armed bandits, no music, just the hum of conversation. I really feel that we can live without TVs in the lounges. What makes it even more intrusive is that in the US they all seemed to be tuned to CNN. If BA insist on TVs, perhaps BBC News / BBC World would be more appropriate; they are available in the US now on most cable and satellite systems.
