We had the "is there a doctor on the flight" message today Ottawa->Edmonton.

One of the passengers passed out, wiped out, cut her face fairly badly...

I think we had three doctors on this small flight! Flight attendant (flight supervisor?) did a really great job, she scrambled around like it was her child who got hurt. Paramedics met the plane on landing. They had a good kit on board it seems, Doctor got her stitched up, forms all filled out by the time we landed, and passenger was wheeled out.

Everyone waited patiently (except one dummy) for them to get her out first.

All in all pretty smooth and textbook, and no delay to the rest of us (we still beat the baggage). Nice to see it all work out so well and gives some faith, thought I would post a little commendation for crew and the doctors who fixed her up.
