I have stayed twice as HH Gold and using AMEX Plat FHR program benefits. We have consistently received outstanding upgrades, from the most basic room rate we have received Suite and Villa level upgrades. It doesn't hurt we go in what is generally "off season". As part of FHR, we receive comp'd breakfasts for two each day, plus a spa credit which I have been able to convert to a restaurant credit for a nice lunch.

My next reservation is in late March, and this time we're doing FHR and I'm HH Diamond so we'll see how it goes.
