That's an unfair stereotype. You'd much rather have had any of my kids when they were nine, rather than the drunk Hustler-magazine reader (BTDT).

But I'm familar with the attitude. 'was on one flight to ZHR years ago; the whole family in J. There was one female pax that kept throwing the meanest, dirtiest looks at my daughter, while my daughter spent the whole nine hours sitting quietly reading a book.

'never heard that; but I do know from experience that if one of your kids is sitting anywhere on the plane, they will not let you sit in the exit row.
