Layover means different things to different people....

As I discovered when I told a colleague in Sydney that a routing that I was considering for my next visit to Sydney involved a 5h layover in Bangkok. After she had recovered from a serious fit of giggles, I was advised not to tell too many other people in Aus how much I had enjoyed or otherwise said layover, especially in Bangkok
