I totally agree with this. It depends on the child. I am planning on putting our 7 year old in Y while we are in J DFW-FRA for the summer. If he is well educated and has manners, then there is no inconvenience to pax and FAs. If he is loud, throws popcorn everywhere and rings the call button every 20 mins, yes, he is an issue.
I disagree with the blanket statement of not letting kids be in coach when you are in J.
On that note though, I believe the unaccompanied minor issue/situation only applies to when the kid really flies alone. I think, however, that somebody on here stated that you need to be in the same cabin as the child. Can anybody confirm/deny with actual experience, not conjecture?
