This was from a May 2009 stay....


1. How was the service? Very good -- only issue I had was I ended up with a room next to construction (on the other building), not their fault.


2. What were the costs for the breakfast buffet in USD? Was it worth it? I had a discount due to my Marriott status. $5 I believe was what I paid.

3. Were there local eating spots nearby? Were they reasonably priced? Yup -- lots of good ones, 2 or 3 within just a 2 min walk. Casual Caribbean type eating but very enjoyable.


4. Was the beach in good condition? Immaculate, the chairs were put out exactly where/when you wanted them as well.

5. Were the theme night meals everything the website claims? They were a bit expensive but very fun. Sunday night meal was the best.

6. Any hidden costs or experiences with misrepresented things?
Nope, not that I can remember. They messed up a special order for a surprise cake/bottle of champagne but didn't end up charging me for it after I explained how angry I was.

7. I am a plt. Any chance of upgrades at this location? Not sure, I was midlevel at the time but I don't believe the Resorts give you status upgrades. I'd defer to someone with more experience though.
