I flew on the MD11 (MIA/LHR route) many times until they switched it with the 777....

The main thing about the MD11 ? ....great seat pitch on all rows ! (I'll take leg room over seat back TVs any day !)

Oh, and I agree with Bollar, Elite flyer can have bulkhead seats "unblocked", but only elite flyers can do this, just if this happens to you at least you will be sitting next to some one who is a frequent flyer and (hopefully) knows how to behave on a long haul flight
