Not sure what you mean by penalty, but yes you can use BA
miles to book
intra north american flights on One World.
Log into your BAEC account, and play around with spending BA miles on your preferred American domestic routes by including partners. It's really very simple to do, even if you don't have enough miles in your account yet.
