Hi,
Since i'm the travel geek in family I've been asked for some advice on Costa Rica so i've turned to you because i know nothing about the place.

My sister is planning a trip there end of march/early april for about 2.5 weeks. How would you recommend she divide her time? Any must see places?

She also had some questions about accomodation. She heard somewhere about some huts/cabanas on the beach that can be had for $50 US, does such a price even make sense? would you recommend booking accomodation before, or would it be alot cheaper to do that once she's arrived? It sounds like she's pretty flexible with things and can spend up to $100 US per night, but wants the most bang for her buck. Any recommendations?

Lastly driving a car. Is it worth it to rent a car there or better to use other methods of transport?
