When drugs, weapons, graffiti "artists", and rapists no longer exist on high-school campuses, then I will have time to devote to worrying about the crime of buying or selling airline miles/tickets/certificates.

Ethics? On any scale, it has to fall pretty low.

If we are fighting society's ills, surely there is a better cause.

Based on our recent election, it would appear a significant portion of the population is scarcely concerned about ethics, morals, or common decency in general.
