American Express offers several different travel-related insurances. One in particular is called Travel Assure which is offered to US Consumer OPEN Cardmembers. Enrollment is required, and a premium is charged per covered person per covered trip. There are no monthly fees or enrollment charges. Tickets must be purchased in entirety with an enrolled Amex Card. Tickets must be charged separately for the full benefit amount to apply to each Covered Person. Information can be found at www.onlineclaim.americanexpress.com. Or you can enroll by calling: 800-437-9209 8am to 8pm ET.
