You must have a Platinum Charge card in your name active in order to use any FHR benefits. If you will show up at the hotel and you no longer have an active Platinum charge card, you probably will still get a room. However, rate can be adjusted to a current non- discounted hotel rate and you might loose all the FHR benefits. IMHO
