Why is it on these threads where it is strictly a customer service issue where the attitude of an employee is involved that someone always posts "report it to the DOT." Can or will the DOT do something about a cranky agent or FA. No. Do they care that the interior of the aircraft was dirty or if there was a fly in your beverage? No. Please utilize the DOT complaint process for issues where the airline has clearly violated it's own stated policies, procedures or contract of carriage. Your run-of-the-mill everyday complaints about a bad apple employee should not be sent to the DOT.
Couldn't agree more. It's simply irresponsible to ask for gov. intervention in every facet of life. Hopefully DOT has bigger fish to fry!
