I will be arriving in PEK at 1450hrs on SQ, and I plan to take a domestic CA flight from PEK to TAO departing at 1645hrs. 2 different PNRs for these 2 flights.
I read from CA website that the check-in counter for domestic flights in PEK will close 60 minutes before flight departure. Is it true in reality?
I would like to know for my above scenario, is it achievable for me to accomplished in 55 minutes, disembark the plane, clear immigration, collect luggage, and rush to the check-in counter?

Although you can make your way to the domestic transfer check in counters right next to where you collect your SQ flight bags (ie., no need to go back to the normal check in floor), I wouldn't risk having only 55 mins. I have had some horrible experiences with PEK unloading bags. The public annoucement simply said the bags were blocked on their way in 2 instances recently. I had to wait more than an hour for the bags and I had to see the people next to me missing their SK flights.
