Otherwise, I also find the fries a bit disappointing (compared to the burgers and shakes). You would think their "fresh cut" approach would yield a superior product, but it doesn't seem to.
In-n-Out's fries generally seem to be a love 'em or hate 'em thing. I personally love love love 'em, but I feel like I'm generally in the minority. I didn't care for animal-style fries the one time I ordered them, though I always get my burger animal style.
