New flyertalker here, thanks for all the great info. Before I call and set up my challenge dates, I want to make doubly sure this will work so I dont waste it:

March 11 RDU-RNO 4636 miles roundtrip
March 31 RDU-LAX 4594
April 13 RDU-PLS 2556

Total of 11786, all in discount economy equals 5893 Q points. Does this look right or am I completely overlooking something?

Also, the return from LAX is AA 174, a direct flight with stop in DFW. Is the mileage credited LAX-DFW-RDU or the nonstop equivalent?
