There must be a wattage limit on the ports because the plane does finite limits and realities and I have to wonder if revealing the wattage limit on the ports will merely cause all to design devices which operate at that maximum. Some times, secrecy is intentional.
If the system is designed to handle all the ports operating at maximum then why would there need to be secrecy to avoid all the devices operating at that level?
