Your comment is the first confirmation I have read that the WBI or ATI (scanner) can detect breast prosthetics. Did your experience with the WBI/ATI happen before or after the recent increased emphasis on scanners following the 25 Dec 09 incident? When the scanner detected the prosthetic, how did the TSA resolve the detection? Was this more or less intrusive or about the same as what happens when you opt for the pat-down rather than the scanner? Any information that you are willing to share will be greatly appreciated in making my personal decision of what to do if I am confronted with this choice in the future.
