i think the finest thing i've ever seen posted to USENET is this:

"Just because there are more 747s than DC-10s does not make the 747 a better airplane." I can sort of say that again as regards the L-1011, which used to be like my most favourite plane ever. i took a pointless BOS-ATL trip on De**a right before they retired them.

of course, we're now supposed to believe the 767 is a better plane than either of 'em.

so. is the 11 apparently less forgiving than the 10? that would be...interesting. the 11 seems to have some very strange problems that the 10 never did.
