Lack of meal choice in F
When we flew from JNB to LHR about 10 days ago I was disappointed when giving my dinner order to discover that neither my first choice of fish nor my second choice of chicken were available (I was the last of the 7 passengers in F to give my order). I was left with a choice of either beef - or - beef! (which I didn’t want).
Both the purser and the CSD were very apologetic (and the purser offered me a meal from Club) and I have no complaints about how they handled the problem. But I was disappointed – running out of meal choices is not what I expected in F. I completed a feedback form and the CSD said she would also make a report.
10 days later I haven’t received an acknowledgement of my feedback, let alone an apology. Am I being naive to expect, firstly, a full menu choice in F and, secondly, an acknowledgement of my feedback? (Or am I just too impatient – should I expect a response at some future date?)
