I've had trouble finding good fares to BKK, so that sounds very attractive (even if it's not upgradeable with borrowed SWUs). Since you're in coach, I'd stick with 777's over 747's as much as possible. Also keep in mind, of course, that your checked luggage might go all the way MRY without you (i.e., don't check luggage).
