Yes you should be able to. Put in the route you're looking for and searching as you normally would. You'll get a reply that BA doesn't fly the route and then you just click on the "include partners" button and bingo!

No problems getting any kind of awards. I booked a MIA-SJU in December and booked an Iberia to JNB earlier today so it's definitely possible.
