I think this may be the problem. MCO is pretty rammed all summer due to all the kids going to Disney over the school holidays. Outbound US-LON in June is not so bad but July and August there are very few reward flights going now - well in fact very few seats at all for sale or redemption

Leaving out of TPA the availability also is pretty bad but leaving ex-MIA things are better. That probably doesn't help a great deal as MIA is not exactly close to MCO but just to prove there are seats out there!

I'm having a similar issue going the other way i.e. LON-Florida over the summer either using Miles or Staff Travel and the loads are shockingly high so will probably go to JFK and connect onto AA.
