I believe sending the same letter to two different addresses will not help your case. Overnight it if you'd like, but make sure it's not too rambling, or it won't garner much attention.
Being met by ground personnel and security were one of the options given to me by the head purser (who handled the situation wonderfully) I declined because I would have had to confront this person again and I simply wanted to get off the plane and get home as quickly as possible.
