well as for ANchorage, I hear complaining all the time that we pay more in ANC for groceries than the "lower 48"(not sure why people dont say lower 49 but wthdik). I dont ever burst their bubble but they are thinking rather ignorantly because anchorage prices are about the same if not lower for groceries than some other states Ive visited and shopped for groceries.
