Instead of e-mailing the overnight letter, I would use a delivery service - USPS, UPS or FedEx. If you intended to send it via one of these services all along, then just do so - an e-mail address is not required.
Overnighting it via USPS or FedEx is and was the plan in addition to the email. (the description of which I could have parsed better in my original post) One never knows which method receives a quicker response so better safe then sorry and respond via both.
