The reaction I got turning up at the T5 F check-in having checked-in online but didn't print the boarding passes spoke volumes of what air travel has become nowadays.
When I told her this fact she just looked at me and I got a "and what do you expect me to do about it" kind of look. Took her a little time to twig that she was supposed to print some boarding passes for me.
Sadly the interaction with BA staff is fast becoming a thing of the past due to modern ways.....mind you some of the staff are so robotic dealing with a machine is sometimes the lesser of the two evils.
