Is this sensible? What are our chances of making it, and our luggage? My alternative is to book an earlier flight out of Heathrow which gives a far longer turnaround but that will mean an insanely early start from our house.

What will happen if we miss the connection? Will we just get dumped on the next available flight (potentially a long way off) and told to wait in the terminal, or put up in a hotel?

We will be in Business Class

Anyone any experience of what happens when you miss a flight? What would you do?

Hi. if you are flying in Business, you dont need to worry about your connecting flight. you will make it on time. if you miss your connecting flight due to late arrival of your flight from LHR, they will either put you on other flight or in hotel. My recommendation is; if you are traveling in QR business for first time, its good to spend time in the premium terminal in Doha. how long will your transit time be if you take an eralier flight from LHR?

Back in May 2009, I was flying QR economy from London LHR to Osaka kansai. I missed my connecting flight to Osaka due to 17 minute delayed arrival of my flight from London. I was put in hotel and put on the next day flight. So in any case, no need to worry.

Enjoy it
