A class is the same as that used to book first class segments for the oneworld Explorer. In the past when I have booked one of these the international legs on AA usually have A inventory available. When the inventory is not available I get an EP agent to put a request into inventory control and for the most part have been successful in getting a seat within 24 hours. Domestic A class is another story - I usually have to juggle flight times to make sure I get confirmed. I wonder whether the system will differentiate between revenue A class and upgrade A class and which will take priority.

What a mess!
