This is true, although you might have to work with your credit limit, depending on the value of the house / amount of tax to be paid.

Pay online for:

* Self Assessment
* Employers PAYE/NICS
* Stamp duty
* Miscellaneous Payments (only references beginning with 'X')
* VAT
* Corporation Tax
