Fair enough. I'll raise the HIX grade. I have stayed in only a couple of Hampton Inns, so maybe their breakfasts were above standard because I found them comparable to the normal HIX. HIX breakfasts have gotten better in the last few years, that is true.
I like the HIX breakfasts. The biscuits are good, and I often use either a biscuit (if I'm willing to absorb the calorie hit) or an English muffin to make and egg and meat breakfast sandwich. I do wish they provided more fruit. Some melon or even fruit cocktail would be good.
