We are visiting Guatemala on a short trip, and were researching a daytrip to the Copan Ruins just over the border in Honduras. We saw that there are charter flights to the Los Tablones (LOX?) air strip on the Guatemalan side of the border, ~20mi from Copan. I wanted to check if anyone here had heard of or used this air strip. Further, wanted to find out if people had visited Copan recently. Appreciate your thoughts and comments.
