Till, for really light in weight bags look at LeSportsSac especially if some one can lend you one from the good old days when they were all Made In USA. Now they are made in China and seem to be made of heavier material and straps.

I've had LeSportSac bags since at least 1980 and have never worn one out even with daily use.

I'm thinking of going back to using a LeSportsSac duffle for a carry on bag as I am still shopping for my Ultimate Checkable Suitcase.
