I just got off the phone with customer service and was told that my almost 16-hour layover going from SEA to KIX doesn't quality for a transit hotel because of the route. (Apparently only routes from SEA bound for Fukuoka and one other airport-- forgot which one, but not Narita-- qualify.) Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions? I'm kind of surprised; this is my first disappointment with Asiana!
