Time to dispel yet another conspiracy theory. I have only flown on one of the non-XM'd 767-300's (fin 689). IIRC, at least two of the three aircraft were not reconfigured with coat closets -- not about lack of desire, it's about lack of designated stowage. We made every effort to clear out the overhead bins in J/C to ensure that space was free and clear for the customers. Perhaps the decision was made to eliminate cupboards in favour of aircraft seating given the routing of the aircraft. Winter - Western Canada > Hawaii, Caribbean, Mexico & South // Summer - Athens & Barcelona.

Not one coat visible on my recent YEG - Mexico flight. In fact, shorts and tank tops were a common sighting
