To add to this, Hampton has added a waffle station as a brand standard. They also typically have a couple of hot options in warming trays. On my most recent stay, the hot options were single servings packaged in a refrigerator with nearby microwaves to heat them up. Not sure if this is a chain wide change or just a single location variance. Choice of normal or "robust" coffee, not identified by brand.

Fairfield Inn is similar, with the waffle station and microwavable single serving hot items, along with the typical continental breakfast items.
